Cheers:) 2009 is the debut exhibition featuring around one hundred young emerging Chinese artists and designers currently residing in London. The exhibition showcases the creative energy and positive attitude of young Chinese creators. Expect to see multiple disciplines including fine art, fashion design, architecture and spatial design, multimedia art, graphic design, product design and photography. The meaning of Cheers :) = “Ch” (Chinese) + “ers” (artists and designers).

Cheers :) aims to be an annual exhibition brand and a unique umbrella for young Chinese creative energy actively engaged in London’s Art and Design scene. it’s the first one- stop exhibition in London which intends to showcase works the represent important trends, ideas and subjects in this hybrid group of young talents, exploring the refreshing artistic impact of China- UK cross cultural experience on these artists and designers, best manifested by their works. A tour in China of Cheers :) 2009 themed Reverse Current will visit Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Hong Kong and Taipei in 2010.

Free Range Exhibition 2008

Sunday, June 29th, 2008

Free Range Exhibition 2008 at The Old Trumean Brewery, London.

This is Europe’s largest graduate art and design show. Over the eight week period, thousands of students from the UK’s top art and design colleges will exhibit their work. Free Range was set up to showcase the works of budding designers and artists to both public and potential employers alike, giving students the best opportunity to promote their work. Each year the show has increased in size and popularity, making it a destination point for thousands of Londoners and lovers of visual arts. Over 150, 000 people visited this free- entry show last year, putting it in the same league as one from say, The Royal Academy of Arts or the Victoria & Albert Museum.
